Preparations are under way for a parade in the beautiful harbour town of Kinsale as a whole day’s celebrations are planned, culminating in a never to be forgotten parade on the sea.
School groups, community groups, artists, actors, musicians, performers, sports stars and proud West Cork citizens are all joining the Kinsale St Patrick’s Day Parade as it returns to the picturesque streets of Kinsale this March 17. “Kinsale is famous for its gorgeous scenery, fine food, great bars and cafés, and pretty streets, Kinsale also abounds in community spirit.
The fun kicks off at 1pm with street entertainment and busking, while the parade itself starts at 4pm. Afterwards, dance to a Ceilí or take an easy stroll and work up an appetite for delicious dinner before the grand finale, the Maritime Night Parade on the harbour waters at 7.30pm! Enjoy the beautifully lit boats sailing in to the harbour from your waterside table at the Pier One Restaurant.
